Why Lift Video Production
We've spent years producing video for frontline industries and over the past few years that work has extended deep into Australia's healthcare and community services sector.
Clients including GenU, Yooralla, Berry Street, Wellways and Calvary Health Care trust us to handle their stories, their training and their recruitment with the care the work demands.
We understand what's different about this sector. The privacy, consent and dignity requirements. The trauma-informed lens that has to sit behind every shoot. The compliance environment of NDIS Quality and Safeguards, Child Safe Standards and WHS. And the reality that most of our clients are for-purpose organisations stretching every dollar across recruitment, training and community trust.
We focus on:
Working alongside frontline staff without disrupting care or service delivery
Sensitive, trauma-informed practice with participants, clients and families
Clear consent and dignity-first storytelling — every time, no exceptions
Strategic content that serves recruitment, training and community trust from a single shoot
Pre-interview preparation so the people on camera feel confident, not exposed
We work as a partner, not a vendor bringing pre-production rigour, on-site sensitivity, and a distribution-first mindset so the work actually moves the dial on the outcomes you're chasing: more staff hired, fewer incidents, stronger trust with the people you support.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. We work with disability providers, mental health services, child and family services, and hospitals — including GenU Training, Yooralla, Berry Street, Wellways and Calvary Health Care. We know the compliance landscape (NDIS Quality and Safeguards, Child Safe Standards, WHS), the funding pressures of the for-purpose sector, and the sensitivity required when filming participants, clients and the frontline staff who support them.
-
Yes. We're based in Melbourne but film across Australia regularly — hospitals, disability and mental health services, aged care facilities, community hubs and regional outreach sites. We run a national freelance network so we can scale crews up for multi-site campaigns. If your service spans multiple states or regions, we'll plan a shoot schedule that minimises travel cost and keeps disruption to your teams low.
-
Yes — it's how we work. Healthcare and community services don't pause for a film crew, and we don't expect them to. We plan around clinical handovers, medication rounds, participant routines and visiting hours. Our crews are inducted, comply with infection control, and work to the consent and dignity standards your participants, clients and families deserve. We follow a trauma-informed approach across every shoot, and we capture the real rhythm of how care is delivered — not a staged version.

Most healthcare projects run around six to eight weeks from kick-off to final delivery. That breaks down roughly as: one to two weeks of pre-production (brief, consent and approval processes, pre-interviews, shoot planning), one to three days on site filming, and three to four weeks in post-production and revisions. Healthcare projects often need additional review cycles for consent, clinical accuracy and stakeholder sign-off, which we build into the timeline upfront. Bigger multi-site or multi-asset programs (full recruitment campaigns, induction systems, clinical training suites) typically run eight to twelve weeks.
